A Momma’s Life

Published by mc3momma at 7:35 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

It’s been a while since I “blogged”. In fact my last blog was called “A Teacher’s Life”. Wow how things have changed, though I suppose I could still call this blog “A Teacher’s Life”. After all isn’t a mother the best teacher a child could have?? I taught my children a few things to day. Let’s see…… My daughter Mila, almost 3, learned that we don’t need to use paper towels to dry the masterpiece she just created on the easel I let her use for the first time. Come on paper towels cost as much as gas! Chris, 14 months, learned that if he eats Cheerios off the floor he’ll have to eat a little bit of dirt too cause mommy is cleaning up the playroom floor due the puddle of paint instead of the kitchen floor today. I also learned something today… I learned that if Chris pees and soaks himself I will still have to pick him up and I too will be soaked. I swear my daughter never peed as much as him but they do say boys have bigger bladders. Did you know that?  I’m just happy one of them is potty trained, though at times I wish I could have her have a diaper on!
But this blog isn’t called A Teacher’s Life its called A Momma’s Life and what a life it is! I’ll hope you’ll enjoy reading it and I hope you can relate. Please feel free to comment and share your stories, I love stories from all mommas’ lives!

Yup, I’m just finished with the toilet training thing, and the amount of times I’ve thought “This would be over a lot sooner if I just let him pee” but then I realize that the person most punished would be me because I have to them clean him, clean the floor and then clean the clothes! Sigh! The joys of motherhood!

So did the paint puddle occur while you were blogging? Or while you were making breakfast? Or while you were cleaning up another mess? I have a 3 year old and a 14 month, too! Keep a smile on your face and enjoy your blogging!

I have a 4 year old and a 9 month old and I’m looking forward to hearing the stories about what goes on with your family (it’s always good to know you’re not alone).
